Lin Yang

Lin Yang is a Lecturer in the School of Accounting and Finance at Hong Kong Polytechnic University. She previously completed her Ph.D. in Economics at Georgia Institute of Technology, an M.S. in Economics at University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a B.A. in English (with Finance and Economics concentration) at Central University of Finance and Economics (China). Her research integrates Applied Microeconomics, Development Economics, and Political Economy, with a focus on foreign aid, armed conflict, and health impacts in South Asia, leveraging GIS mapping and econometric methods to generate causal evidence.
