Lin Shu-hui

Prof. Lin Shu-hui is a Visiting Professor at the Department of Taiwan Culture, Languages and Literature, National Taiwan Normal University. She holds visiting scholar appointments at Harvard University, SOAS, and UCSD. Her expertise lies in travel writing, Taiwanese literature, and cultural studies with a focus on historical and colonial discourses. She has conducted research through programs like the US institutes on US Culture and Society at NYU, the TUSA-Harvard Collaboration Program, and the Fulbright Scholar Program.

Her research explores the intersection of cultural memory, colonial history, and modern Taiwanese identity through literary and archival analysis. Notable works include studies on travel narratives during Japanese colonial rule and digital archiving of Taiwanese cultural discourse.
