Lin Li is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer & Cyber Sciences at Georgia Southern University's School of Computer and Cyber Sciences. Their research focuses on Explainable machine learning, Human-AI interaction, Multimodal data mining, and online marketplace platforms. Lin holds a Ph.D. in Management Information Systems from Kyung Hee University (2021), an MBA in International Business from Ajou University (2016), and a BA/BEC in English and Finance from Shandong University (2012). They are certified in Machine Learning (Stanford/DeepLearning.AI, 2023) and Google Data Analytics (2023).
Recent work explores blockchain applications in decentralized platforms, risk assessment in cryptocurrency investments using machine learning, and improving user experiences in chatbot services. Lin teaches AIST 2110 Principles of Scripting and serves on the Academic Web Oversight Committee and Faculty Search Committee since 2024.
