Lilly Manycolors (b.1989) is a Lecturer at Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) within the Teaching + Learning In Art + Design (TLAD) faculty. They hold a BA from Goddard College and an MA from RISD. Their work bridges art practice, education, and activism.
Research Focus:
- Explores trans-species kinships and planetary futures through decolonial frameworks
- Examines land/animal agency and motherhood as sites of resistance
- Reimagines art as a tool for political liberation and multigenerational engagement
