Liberty Ferda is a Teaching Professor in the Department of English at the University of Pittsburgh, affiliated with the Kenneth P. Dietrich School of Arts & Sciences. She serves as Assistant Director of the First-Year Engineering Composition program and teaches writing courses across disciplines. Her work emphasizes empowering non-traditional, second-career, and veteran students through workshops at Pitt's Community Engagement Centers.
