Libby Ives

Libby Ives is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Earth, Environmental and Geographical Sciences Department at Northern Michigan University (NMU), where she teaches GC 365 Historical Geology and GC 370 Geomorphology. Her research focuses on glacial history, landforms, and geological mapping, with fieldwork experience in Antarctica, Greenland, Tasmania, and Argentina.

Dr. Ives previously worked with the Michigan Geological Survey and the Upper Peninsula Geological Repository in Sawyer. She is based in 3109 Weston Hall and can be reached at ewoodfor@nmu.edu.
