Libby Beckett-Wrighton

Libby Beckett-Wrighton is an Assistant Professor at University of Bradford with extensive practice experience in healthcare and criminal justice settings. Her clinical specialization includes palliative care at hospices and hospitals, with COVID-19 response work ensuring safe patient discharges during the pandemic.

Prior to academia, she worked with West Yorkshire Probation Service rehabilitating offenders through cognitive behavioral programs addressing substance abuse and domestic violence. Wrighton applies this practitioner experience to inform her teaching of social work methodologies and trauma-informed care approaches.
