Lianming Wang

Lianming Wang is an Associate Professor in the Department of Statistics at the University of South Carolina. His research develops statistical methods for biomedical data, particularly survival and longitudinal analyses.

Primary research areas include Bayesian approaches for censored data, frailty models, and high-dimensional biostatistical applications. Recent work features genomic co-expression detection and flexible parametric modeling of survival data.

He has advised 13+ PhD students and secured NIH funding for projects on cancer prevention and infectious disease modeling.
