Liam Wells is the Course Leader for the BA (Hons) Film and Moving Image Production and an MA Moving Image and Sound Unit Tutor at Middlesex University. His practice-based research investigates non-linear relationships between time, space, and audio-visual works within site-specific contexts. Key themes include hybrid processes, duration, and experimental aesthetics in installations, performances, and webcasts.
Education: Pursuing a PhD by Practice at the University of the Arts London (since 2010). His work has been exhibited internationally, including at the Shanghai World Expo Pavilion and screenings across Europe and Australia. Awards include selection for the One Minutes Vol 4 film festival and commissions from the One Minutes Foundation and DEFRA-funded projects.
