Dr. Li Yang is Associate Professor and Chinese Language Program Coordinator at Kansas State University's Department of Modern Languages. Her research examines L2 pragmatics acquisition, computer-assisted instruction, intercultural competence development, and Chinese writing skills.
She has received multiple grants including USRG funding for collaborative writing research and developed an online textbook for Chinese pragmatics instruction. Yang has contributed to teacher training in intercultural communication and is an ACTFL Oral Proficiency Interview tester.
