Li Hanhan

Li Hanhan is a lecturer at the Arts Center of the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) and holds a Doctor of Musical Arts (D.MA) degree in Piano Performance and Music Arts from the United States. She studied under renowned pianist Gustavo Romero, winner of the 1989 Clara Haskil International Piano Competition, during her doctoral training.

Research & Artistic Contributions: Li Hanhan specializes in piano performance and contemporary American music. Her performance history includes the "Taking Off from Shenzhen" concert (2015), Mu Phi Epsilon Concert Series in Dallas (2016), and guest appearances at the Shenzhen Piano Music Festival (2021-present). She has served as a pianist for the University of North Texas Wind Ensemble and as a jury member for prestigious competitions like the Xinghai Cup National Piano Competition and the Beijing International Piano Art Festival.

Advising & Student Achievements: Her students have won gold medals in international competitions, including the Shenzhen Piano Open, Liszt International Youth Piano Competition, and Versailles International Music and Arts Festival. In 2024, a student placed second at the Asia-Pacific Youth Piano Art Festival.
