Levi Ofoe is Assistant Professor of Speech-Language Pathology at the University of West Georgia. His research examines cognitive processes underlying spoken language production, with emphasis on speech disfluencies in individuals who stutter and non-stutterers. He teaches courses in Anatomy & Physiology of Speech/Hearing, Speech Science, Neurogenic Communication Disorders, and Dysphagia.
He holds a PhD in Speech and Hearing Sciences from Indiana University, an MA in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Florida, and an MPhil in Linguistics from University of Ghana. He is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and National Black Association of Speech-Language and Hearing Professionals.
