Letti Estrella serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Counseling and School Psychology at San Diego State University (SDSU), where she teaches within the Marriage and Family Therapy program and provides clinical supervision as an AAMFT-approved Clinical Supervisor candidate. Her work is deeply rooted in serving bilingual and monolingual Spanish-speaking communities through a culturally responsive lens.

Her clinical expertise centers on Narrative and Collaborative Therapies within postmodern frameworks, with specialized focus on immigrant mental health and culturally grounded therapeutic practices. Dr. Estrella's approach actively integrates clients' ethnic heritage, traditions, and linguistic needs as core therapeutic resources rather than peripheral considerations.

As an immigrant from Veracruz, Mexico, she brings lived experience to her work with Spanish-speaking communities, emphasizing authentic cultural connection in therapy. Her supervision philosophy prioritizes student autonomy and professional authenticity while developing culturally humble clinical skills.
