Dr Leticia Sabsay is an Associate Professor in Gender and Contemporary Culture at the Department of Gender Studies, London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Her research focuses on queer theory, psychoanalysis, and the intersections of sexuality, subjectivity, and political ideals across transnational contexts. She previously held positions at Birkbeck College, the Open University, and the University of Buenos Aires. Her work critiques the entanglement of sexual citizenship with liberal democratic frameworks and colonial legacies.
Key collaborations include affiliations with Columbia University’s Centre for the Study of Social Difference, the Desigualdades Research Network, and the International Consortium of Critical Theory Programmes.
