Leslie Consitt

Leslie Consitt is an Associate Professor at the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. Her research focuses on the metabolic properties of skeletal muscle in conditions like obesity, diabetes, and aging. She is particularly interested in understanding the cellular and molecular mechanisms that contribute to skeletal muscle insulin sensitivity and lipid metabolism, and how exercise and diet modifications impact these mechanisms.
