Dr Leonie Howe is a Senior Lecturer in Criminology at the University of Greenwich, affiliated with the School of Law and Criminology within the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences. She holds a BA, MPhil, and PhD, along with a PG Cert in academic credentials.
Her research focuses on comparative criminal justice systems, coronial reform, deaths and self-injury in custody, honour killings, and race-related crime. She has contributed to significant policy inquiries, including submissions to the Joint Committee on Human Rights and Deaths in Custody.
