Leonid Kulyuk

Leonid Kulyuk is a Professor and academician of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova (ASM) serving as Head of the Laboratory of Physics of Semiconductor Compounds "Sergiu Radautsan" at the Institute of Applied Physics in Chisinau, Moldova.

Dr. Kulyuk holds the Doctor of Sciences (habilitation) degree and maintains office 240 at the Institute located at 5 Academiei Street. His research focuses on semiconductor materials and their physical properties.

His work spans multiple interdisciplinary fields including semiconductor physics, materials science, and solid state physics with applications in optoelectronics and photovoltaics. The Institute of Applied Physics participates in numerous international research projects including EU Framework Programs and bilateral collaborations.

As a prominent researcher in Moldova's scientific community, Prof. Kulyuk contributes to the advancement of semiconductor research in Eastern Europe through his leadership of the specialized laboratory named after Sergiu Radautsan.
