Leone Costi

Dr. Leone Costi is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Oxford, affiliated with Exeter College and the Oxford Robotics Institute. He holds a Ph.D. in Bio-Inspired Robotics from the University of Cambridge, focusing on soft interfaces for remote medical palpation. His research bridges Robotics and Medical Science, with interests in Medical Robotics, Soft Robotics, Artificial Organs, Embodied Intelligence, and Additive Manufacturing.

Current projects include developing soft sensors for medical applications. He collaborates with Professor Perla Maiolino at the Oxford Robotics Institute. His work emphasizes interdisciplinary approaches, combining engineering principles with biological systems to advance healthcare technologies.
