Leonardo Sbrascini

Dr. Leonardo Sbrascini serves as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory (INL) within the Muñoz Research Group, specializing in Nanomaterials for Energy Storage and Conversion (NESC). His primary focus involves developing cathode materials for sodium-ion batteries, including Prussian blue analogues and polyanionic compounds.

His academic foundation includes:

• PhD in Chemistry/Materials Science from the University of Camerino, Italy, supervised by Prof. Francesco Nobili, researching sustainable electrode materials for lithium- and sodium-ion batteries
• Five-month research residency at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Germany, with Prof. Sonia Dsoke, investigating presodiation additives for sodium-ion full cells
