Leona Archer

Dr. Leona Archer is a Senior Lecturer in French at the University of Surrey's Literature and Languages department. She joined in 2015 and teaches undergraduate French programs. Previously, she taught at Université de Pau et des Pays de l'Adour (2013–14) and Université Paul Valéry Montpellier 3 (2012–2013).

Educational Background: PhD in Medieval French Literature (King's College, University of Cambridge), MA in Medieval Studies (University of Exeter), and BA Hons. in French and Italian (University of Exeter).

Research focuses on French Literature, Medieval European Literature, Professional Training (Year Abroad programs), and Language Pedagogy. Her work explores topics like women's roles in medieval narratives and canonical literature.
