Lena Newton

Prof. Lena Newton serves as Professor of Stage Design at Düsseldorf Art Academy's Art Department, leading the Stage Design Workshop which investigates spatial principles of theater, opera, and dance podiums through an integrated program of technical support and specialized seminars.

Her research centers on creating innovative spatial concepts for evolving performance contexts, examining the interplay between live performance, video, and audio art within frameworks of literature, music, and contemporary social discourse.
