Lena Decker

Dr. Lena Decker is a Lecturer in German Studies at the University of Siegen, specializing in language acquisition and language education. Her research investigates academic writing development, language-sensitive subject instruction, and German as a second language pedagogy in teacher education programs.

Current projects examine language education integration in subject teaching using digital media and innovative instructional models. Previous research includes studies on academic writing competencies of teacher trainees and German language support for immigrant students.
