Dr. Leigh Jones is a Lecturer in Inorganic Chemistry at the School of Biological, Physical and Forensic Science, University of Wolverhampton. With a PhD from the University of Manchester (2003), he held postdoctoral positions at Monash University (Royal Society Fellowship), University of Leeds, and University of Edinburgh before starting his academic career at NUI Galway (2008-2013) and Bangor University (2014-2019). His research focuses on inorganic synthetic methodologies, coordination chemistry, molecular magnetism, and coordination polymers (MOFs), with recent work on magnetic coolant materials, heterogeneous catalysis, and waste-water remediation using porous materials. He holds grants from the Royal Society of Chemistry and Science Foundation Ireland.
