Leif Azzopardi

Leif Azzopardi is a Chancellor's Fellow at the University of Strathclyde's Department of Computer and Information Sciences, leading the Interactive Information Retrieval group. He also holds an honorary lectureship at the University of Glasgow's School of Computing Science and an honorary Associate Professorship at Queensland University of Technology. His research focuses on modeling information access, user-system interactions using economic theory, and evaluating search systems' societal impact. He supervises PhD and MSc students on topics like information retrieval models and quantum theory applications.
