Dr. Lei Yang is an Associate Professor in the Department of Asian Languages & Literatures at Carleton College. Holding a Ph.D. in Premodern Chinese Literature from the University of Pennsylvania, her research bridges Chinese historiography and literature from the early dynastic period (-400 to 100 CE) with narratology and hermeneutics.
