Leena Sodha

Leena Sodha is a Professor of Actuarial Science at the University of Leicester, currently serving as Head of the School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences. She transitioned to academia in 2013 after 15 years as a qualified pensions actuary at KPMG and PwC. Her roles include leadership in internationalisation (Dean of Internationalisation, College of Science & Engineering) and gender equality advocacy (Chair, University's Gender Equality Action Group).

She holds a Mathematics and Economics degree from Loughborough University. Her expertise bridges actuarial science, pensions, and educational leadership, focusing on equipping students with professional skills. She has led the Actuarial Science group and contributed to institutional strategy at the university level.
