Dr. Lee Fielding is a Senior Lecturer in Polymer Chemistry at the School of Materials, University of Manchester, and serves as Head of Education for Materials Science and Engineering. His research focuses on the synthesis and application of polymers and polymer colloids in sustainable materials, biomedical diagnostics, and advanced composites.
His group employs controlled radical polymerization techniques like RAFT and PISA to create nanocomposites, hydrogels, and 3D-printable materials. Current projects include
