Lee Ann Townsend

Lee Ann Townsend serves as a Lecturer in the School of Education, Languages, and Instructional Design at SUNY Brockport, a position she has held since 2014. With over three decades of public school experience across multiple states in roles including Elementary Teacher, Principal, Literacy Specialist, and District Trainer, she brings extensive practical expertise to teacher education. Her work emphasizes creating supportive learning environments where students develop literacy skills through research-based practices tailored to individual needs.
