Leandro Piazzi is an Argentinian architect, urban designer, and Lecturer at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute's School of Architecture, where he leads comprehensive design studios and teaches building technology courses. As founding partner of Balsa.Crosetto.Piazzi, his professional work specializes in affordable housing and social infrastructure projects throughout the Americas.
Piazzi's research explores the social and environmental dimensions of everyday tectonics through images, texts, and physical devices. His award-winning work has been exhibited internationally, including at the Venice Architecture Biennale (2023, 2018) and Latin American Architecture Biennale (2019).
