Leah E. Gilbert is an Associate Professor of Political Science at Lewis & Clark College, located in Portland, Oregon. She specializes in Comparative Politics, focusing on civil society, democratization, authoritarianism, post-communist politics (especially Russia), and European politics (with an emphasis on Germany).
