Leah Derham-Boyce is a Doctoral Researcher at the Centre for Decent Work within the Sheffield University Management School and serves as a Junior Lecturer in Management and Psychology at the University of Sheffield. She holds a BSc(Hons) in Neuropsychology (2013), an MSc by Research in Psychology (2016), and a PGCert in Autism and Asperger Syndrome (2018).

Her research focuses on the experiences of autistic adults in mainstream higher education and employment, with an emphasis on mental health and wellbeing, sensory sensitivity, disclosure practices, and masking behaviors. She employs mixed-method approaches, combining qualitative and quantitative techniques, and advocates for societal and policy changes to support neurodiversity through the social and biopsychosocial models of disability.
Leah has contributed to the REF 2020 submissions for her institution and secured the Gold Green Impact award in 2015. She is currently pursuing an Associate Fellowship with the Higher Education Academy.
