Lea Waldner

Lea Waldner is a Research Associate at the School of Applied Psychology, University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW), affiliated with the Institute for Mental and Organizational Health. Her work examines the intersection of evolving work models and psychological well-being in organizational contexts.

She holds an M.Sc. in Psychology from the University of Basel (2011), a CAS in Change Management from FHNW (2016), and is completing an MAS in Coaching at FHNW (2021-2025), complemented by a Safe Advanced Scrum Master certification (2021).

Waldner's research investigates how digital transformation and agile methodologies create both opportunities and mental health challenges in modern workplaces. Her industry background in HR transformation at major Swiss insurers informs her focus on practical strategies for sustaining organizational health during periods of change.

As a core member of FHNW's Institute for Mental and Organizational Health, she contributes to research initiatives addressing the psychological impacts of workplace evolution and developing evidence-based interventions for organizational resilience.
