Lea Stapper is a Lecturer at the Department of Humanities, Social and Political Sciences at ETH Zürich and a doctoral candidate at the Center for Comparative and International Studies (CCIS) under the Institute of Science, Technology and Policy (ISTP). She holds a Master's in Environmental Economics from Toulouse School of Economics and a Bachelor's in International Economics from Georgetown University's Walsh School of Foreign Service.
Research Focus: Her work centers on environmental attitudes, distributional impacts of climate policies, and public opinion on climate and transport policies. Current projects include the Swiss Mobility Panel, analyzing mobility behaviors and policy preferences.
Professional Experience: Previously worked at the OECD's Environment Directorate on cross-national environmental policy surveys. Publications include reports on mobility patterns and policy acceptance in Switzerland, co-authored with Prof. Thomas Bernauer and others.
Affiliations: Active within ETH's ISTP and collaborative teams including Dr. Thomas Bernauer's research group.
