LeTriece Calhoun is a Teaching Professor in the Department of English at the University of Pittsburgh's Kenneth P. Dietrich School of Arts & Sciences. She holds a PhD in Rhetoric and Composition from the University of Pittsburgh and an M.A. in English from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Her research focuses on Rhetoric and Composition, Digital Media, Archival Remixing, Black Rhetoric, and Technogothic Conjuring. She teaches courses in Composition, Digital Humanities, and Black Rhetoric.
Her work explores intersections of technology, cultural analysis, and marginalized narratives. Representative publications include Spellcraft & Translation: Conjuring with AI (2023), examining AI’s role in creative and pedagogical practices. Calhoun is affiliated with the University Faculty Awards program and contributes to interdisciplinary initiatives in digital media and pedagogy.
