Lazar Milentijevic

Lazar Milentijevic (b. 1992) is an assistant professor at the University of Belgrade's Faculty of Philology, Department of Russian Language, Literature and Culture. He completed summa cum laude undergraduate (2015, 9.91 avg) and master's studies (2016, 10.00 avg), defending his doctoral dissertation on Dostoevsky and Rozanov's spiritual dialogue in 2020.

His research focuses on Russian religious thought, Church Fathers' influence on Slavic literature, and spiritual dynamics in Dostoevsky/Gogol. Conference participation includes Moscow, Belgrade, and Sofia events on topics ranging from Soviet cultural experiments to Dostoevskian anthropology.

Recent publications (2018-2021) examine Rozanov's theological mathematics, Soviet utopianism's collapse, and creator-creation dichotomies in Russian classics. He has presented lectures at Belgrade's Ilija Kolarac Foundation and Moscow State University.
