Lawrence Quill is a Professor of Political Theory at San José State University's Department of Political Science within the College of Social Sciences. He holds the S.J.S.U. President’s Scholar Award (2019-2020) and was a Technology and Democracy Fellow at Cambridge University's C.R.A.S.S.H. in 2015 and 2017. His research focuses on loneliness, technology (especially social robotics/AI), and conservatism.
Education: Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Essex, U.K. (2000).
