Laurie Miller

Laurie Miller is a Teaching Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Her roles include teaching undergraduate courses and promoting inclusive education. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Colorado State University (2006), an M.A. in Economics from the same institution (1995), and a B.S. in Finance and Economics from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse (1992).

Her research and teaching focus on microeconomics, macroeconomics, public policy, and data analysis for business applications. She has received notable recognition, including the 2023 Eagle Teaching Excellence Award and the 2023 Inclusive Teaching Award, reflecting her commitment to pedagogical innovation and accessibility.
