Lauri Lovén is a tenure-tracked Assistant Professor at the University of Oulu's Faculty of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering. As vice-director of the Center for Ubiquitous Computing (UBICOMP) and leader of the Future Computing Group (20+ researchers), he coordinates the Distributed Intelligence strategic research area within Finland's 6G Flagship program.
