Laurel Littlefield is a Professor in the Department of Kinesiology at Lipscomb University. She previously served as faculty at Lubbock Christian University (LCU) before joining Lipscomb. Her academic background includes a Ph.D. in Kinesiology, Exercise Nutrition, & Health Promotion from Baylor University (2013), an M.S. in Exercise Science from Texas Tech University (2007), and a B.S. in Exercise & Sport Sciences from LCU (2005). She is a Certified Exercise Physiologist and member of the American College of Sports Medicine. Her research interests focus on Kinesiology and health-related fields, complemented by teaching and mentoring students in research projects. Laurel and her family relocated to Nashville in 2018. Outside academia, she enjoys running, teaching indoor cycling classes, and family time with her husband Brad and three sons.
