Laura de Vito is a Senior Research Fellow at the Air Quality Management Resource Centre (AQMRC) within the School of Architecture and Environment at the University of the West of England (UWE) Bristol. She works at the science-policy interface, focusing on environmental policy, strategic foresight, and long-term decision-making.

Her research explores policy implementation, sustainable development governance, and climate change mitigation. She specializes in mixed-methods research, qualitative comparative analysis (QCA), and foresight methodologies.
She advises governments on policy solutions and co-develops citizen-science frameworks for environmental challenges. Current collaborations include the International Water Security Network and roles in the Bristol Advisory Committee on Climate Change and the Scottish Government Working Group on Clean Air for Scotland.
