Laura Wilson

Laura Wilson is a Professor and Director of Undergraduate Studies for English at the University of Cincinnati's Department of English (Rhetoric and Professional Writing Track). She specializes in preparing students for professional writing careers through courses in social media, web authoring, technical writing, and project management. Her work emphasizes client-based projects and skill development in document design, website development, and social media strategy.

Research interests focus on integrating social justice into technical communication, AI's role in writing programs, and contingent faculty labor conditions. She has been recognized with the William C. Boyce Award for Outstanding Teaching in 2017 and 2022.
