Laura Vordermayer is a postdoctoral researcher and research associate at the Chair of Comparative Literature at Saarland University’s Faculty of Philosophy, where she investigates the interplay between ideologies and European literature, particularly in 19th-century fiction. As a member of the Cluster for European Research (CEUS) and the Research Committee of Saarland University (since 2024), she bridges trauma studies, intermediality, and postcolonial memory through her scholarship.
- Doctorate (2021) on literary dream recordings in 20th-century authors (Perec, Burroughs, Bachmann, Butor), focusing on trauma representation, especially the Shoah.
