Laura Vinnedge is an Associate Professor of Painting and Drawing at the Mary Schiller Myers School of Art, University of Akron. She holds an M.F.A. in Painting from the University of Notre Dame and a B.S. in Art Education from Western Michigan University. Her research explores socio-political themes through mixed-media painting techniques, focusing on environmental impacts of chemical consumption and societal power structures.
