Laura Reilly

Laura Reilly is an Associate Teaching Professor at Mitchell Hamline School of Law since July 2024. She previously held visiting professor roles at the University of St. Thomas School of Law (2023–24) and the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law (2022–23). Before entering academia, Reilly practiced law in litigation firms, focusing on employment discrimination, and served as a judicial law clerk. She holds a J.D., cum laude, from William Mitchell College of Law (1994) and a B.S. in psychology and business from Washington University in St. Louis (1988).

Her professional journey includes bar admissions in Colorado, New York, and the District of Columbia, alongside diverse legal roles from 1992 to 2002. Reilly emphasizes fostering student resilience and integrating innovative teaching strategies into legal education.
