Laura R. Ment, MD, is a Professor of Pediatrics (Neurology) and Associate Dean for Admissions and Financial Aid at Yale School of Medicine. She specializes in neonatal brain injuries and neurological conditions in infants, including intraventricular hemorrhage, periventricular white matter injury, and epilepsy. Her research focuses on the adaptive mechanisms of the developing brain, utilizing advanced MRI techniques and molecular technologies to identify biomarkers for brain maturation.
