Laura Paulin

Laura Paulin is an Assistant Professor at Geisel School of Medicine, Dartmouth College, with dual appointments in the Departments of Epidemiology and Medicine. She practices adult pulmonary and critical care medicine and investigates environmental exposures' impact on respiratory disease outcomes.

Education:

• MD from University of Massachusetts Medical School (2008)

Her research focuses on the association between environmental exposures—such as air pollution, occupational hazards, cigarette use, and e-cigarette use—and clinical outcomes in respiratory diseases. She specializes in indoor air pollutants like particulate matter and nitrogen dioxide, examining their sources in rural environments and effects on individuals with COPD.
