Laura McGowan

Laura McGowan is a Lecturer at Scotland's Rural College, focusing on Rural Economy, Environment, and Society. She holds a PhD in Soil Science from the University of Aberdeen and a PGCert in Tertiary and Higher Education from the University of the Highlands and Islands. Her research interests include rural economy, environmental issues, and societal impacts of environmental changes. She has been involved in the revalidation of the BSc in Environmental Management program, serving as an examiner for this qualification.
