Laura Marsillo

Laura Marsillo is a Doctoral Researcher at the Institute for Computational Design and Construction (ICD/CA) at the University of Stuttgart, affiliated with the Cluster of Excellence IntCDC. Her work bridges academia and practice, focusing on computational design, AI integration, and resource-aware architecture.

• Educated at the University of Naples (M.Sc. in Architecture) and IAAC (Postgraduate Diploma in AI for Architecture)
• Graduated with distinction in the ITECH M.Sc. program with the thesis 'Reclaimed Design'

She contributes to the EIC Pathfinder Challenge RAW project, developing open design frameworks for reclaimed materials. Her prior roles include assistant lecturer and adjunct professor at the University of Naples, and co-founding Marsillo Architetti in Italy.
