Laura Macfarlane-Berry is a PhD student at the Australian National University's National Centre for Epidemiology and Population Health (NCEPH), affiliated with the Department of Applied Epidemiology. As a veterinarian and epidemiologist with over 15 years of experience in animal and public health across Australian federal/state governments and the Asia-Pacific region, her current research focuses on strengthening Australia’s applied veterinary epidemiology workforce to address biosecurity threats.
