Laura M. Born is an Adjunct Professor of Finance at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She brings extensive experience from her 16-year tenure at J.P. Morgan Chase, where she held the title of Managing Director in Investment Banking and worked across Equity Capital Markets, Leveraged Finance, and Investment Banking Coverage. Her professional focus includes mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, capital structure advisory, and financial restructuring. She also served on the Board of Trustees for the Columbia Acorn Trust and Wanger Advisors Trust for over a decade, including as Chair.
